The Russians are targeting the fields in the frontline regions with barrel artillery, MLRS and drones. In the last week alone, more than a hundred hectares of grain crops were destroyed by fire.
On July 12, 24 hectares of wheat crops were burned in Sumy Oblast due to enemy shelling.
On July 11, 4 hectares of wheat burned in one of the villages of Pologiv district of Zaporizhzhya region.
On July 8, a wheat field with an area of 20 hectares burned near the front-line town of Kurylivka, Kharkiv region. And in a week, 5 fires broke out in the bread fields of Kharkiv region, about 75 hectares of wheat were destroyed.
On July 6, a field of warm barley near Bilozerka, Kherson region, caught fire. Out of 43 hectares, 13 burned.
