In the Luhansk region, the Russians destroyed at least a third of the forest fund and nature conservation areas

Out of 95 thousand hectares of the nature reserve fund of the region, more than 26 thousand hectares of the forest fund were destroyed. Also damaged are the territories of the National Nature Park "Kremensky Forests", the Hydrological Reserve "Kremensky Kaptazhi", part of the Luhansk Nature Reserve "Trekhizbenskyi Steppe" and the Protected Tract "Oak Grove".

According to preliminary estimates, material losses from the fires amount to more than 180 billion hryvnias.
