On September 4, the Russian army fired about 40 shells at the northern masses of the Sumy region.

In the Znob-Novgorod community, a power line was damaged, there were no casualties. In the village of Novovasilyevka, fragments damaged the walls of residential buildings, the buildings of the school and the village council. In the Druzhbinsk community, private houses were damaged: windows were broken, fences were destroyed.
