In Zaporizhzhia region, the russian military abducted two British volunteers

Dominic Byrne, director of the non-profit Presidium Network, reported the kidnapping. Humanitarian workers lost contact with them on 25.04.2022 in the morning when they were driving to the south of Zaporizhzhia region to evacuate the civilian population.


The family, which British volunteers were trying to evacuate, was detained and interrogated by russian soldiers. They asked if the volunteers were "British spies". The family was later released and is now in Poland. Nothing is known about the fate of the British volunteers.
