Occupants abducted 600 people in the Kherson region

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, human rights activists have recorded at least 600 cases of enforced disappearances in the Kherson region. The occupiers mostly abducted civilians.

“Russia treats people – civilian hostages, political prisoners – as objects of negotiation. This can be seen in the example of how hostages are taken en masse in the occupied territories.”
