At Christmas, the Russian military attacked the border areas of the Sumy region - two communities were hit, the head of the Sumy OVA, Dmitry Zhivitsky, said in a telegram. According to a local official, the Russian invaders fired mortars at the Seredino-Budskaya community after one in the morning. The Russian army inflicted four strikes on the community, as a result of which six private dwellings of local residents and the power grid were damaged. Russian troops also fired on the Znob-Novgorod community of the Sumy region.
