More than 600 multi-storey buildings, more than 50 schools and 7 medical institutions have been destroyed in Kharkiv due to constant shelling of the city by russian army.
In addition, the Art Museum was damaged but the works of art were preserved. Paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky, Ilya Repin, in particular, the famous painting "Cossacks writing a letter to the Turkish Sultan", as well as some works by Taras Shevchenko, were hidden from the bombings.
