Russia resettles Ukrainians in Siberia and beyond the Arctic Circle

russian troops took 11,000 Ukrainians from Ukraine to Siberia, 7,000 each to the Far East and the North Caucasus.


In addition, the abducted Ukrainians were to be sent to Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan. In total, about 100 thousand illegally exported to Russia people are reported.


From the inhabitants of Mariupol, for example, the invaders demanded to sign documents stating that ukrainian troops had shelled their city. The signatories were told they could not return to Ukraine as they would face persecution.
