Russian troops destroyed one of the oldest buildings in Mariupol

As a result of shelling by the Russian army, one of the oldest buildings in the city, the Center of Contemporary Art «Hotel Continental», was practically destroyed. The basements of the building were a shelter for the citizens during the shelling of the city by russian army.

Building from 1897. At the end of the 19th century, it housed the Continental Hotel. Then, the Palace of Culture of the «Azovstal» plant, the Palace of Culture «Molodizhnyy».
