Massive shelling of civilian infrastructure from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system began on August 4 at 18:00 and continued until the morning of August 5. During this time, residential buildings, parked cars, shops, a market, playgrounds were damaged in Shevchenkovsky and Industrialny districts of the city.
