In Kharkiv, Uspenskyi Cathedral (the Assumption Cathedral) suffered from shelling by Russian artillery. People were hiding inside at the time of the strike. Luckily no one was hurt. Uspenskyi Cathedral is the oldest Orthodox church in Kharkiv. It withstood the Soviet administration and the bombing during World War II. In addition, the Church of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women and the Church of St. Anthony the Great were damaged by the shelling in Kharkiv on this day.
