On April 27, at 01:05, Russian troops attacked the city with four Kalibr missiles. As a result, a 45-year-old man died, 23 local residents, including two children, received injuries of varying severity.

A historic building, residential five-story buildings, a square were damaged, and hits were recorded on private sector houses in one of the city districts. Power lines were out of order, due to which part of the microdistrict was left without electricity.(
