Russian troops "demilitarized" the zoo near Kharkiv
As a result of shelling by Russian artillery, a private zoo on the territory of the “Feldman-Ecopark” landscape park in the Dergachev district near Kharkov was damaged. "Feldman-Ecopark" is a charitable project, where hundreds of families with children from Kharkiv and the region came daily for recreation and entertainment. According to information from park workers, at least 5 shells hit its territory. Many animals died, others, including large predators, escaped from the bombed-out enclosures. About 5,000 animals lived on the territory of the private zoo, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain and provide food for those remaining in the conditions of continuous shelling of Kharkiv. Requests for help, both financial and volunteering, appeared ion the Facebook pages of “Feldman Ecopark” and its founder Oleksandr Feldman.
