After the dismissal, facts of bullying of teachers and the destruction of Ukrainian education were revealed. Mass graves and dungeons were also found in the area. During the occupation, the Russian military, together with collaborators, massively destroyed textbooks and symbols. Local teachers were able to hide and save some of the books. In August, representatives of the Russian occupation authorities sought out Lilia Sirous, the administrator of School No. 3 in Balakliya, and handed her a list of more than 2,200 textbooks, art books, and school methodologies subject to confiscation and subsequent disposal. In particular, these are all books related to Ukraine.
