The invaders cause mass deaths of dolphins and birds on the Black Sea coast

Black Sea coast

The military actions of the invaders in the Black Sea disorient dolphins. The navigational devices impact dolphins and disable their hearing organs. Having lost their orientation, "blinded" animals can be washed ashore in panic and die.

Mass death of birds has also been reported in the Crimea, in Kruhla Bay near Sevastopol. A military hospital of the Black Sea fleet and a helicopter plant dump their effluents into the bay known for its cleanliness. Ships and submarines are also loaded there.

Currently ecologists cannot examine the situation and assess the real extent of damage to the environment.
