During the year of aggression, Russia carried out at least 707 attacks on the medical infrastructure of Ukraine, from February 24 to December 31, 2022, an average of two attacks were recorded daily against the healthcare system, including the bombing of hospitals, the torture of doctors and the shelling of emergency medical vehicles.
Russian attacks damaged or completely destroyed 218 hospitals and outpatient facilities. The researchers also recorded, in particular, 86 attacks on health workers, as a result of which at least 62 doctors were killed and 52 injured.
