In the morning of March 11, the Russian army bombed Western Ukraine. Eyewitnesses report three explosions in Ivano-Frankivsk.
According to the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv, the siren did not work.
"The enemy hit Ivano-Frankivsk! We are investigating why the siren system did not work," he said.
He asked people living in the airport area to subsequently leave their homes - but for now stay in shelters.
"Residents of Krykhivtsi, Chukalivka, Opryshivtsi, and Gorodok district! Do not leave your homes now and do not move around the territory of your districts in the nearest future! For now, stay at home for your safety! When the danger passes, I will inform you!" the mayor added.
