According to the report of the government of Ukraine and the UN as of October 17, 2023, direct damage to infrastructure and assets from the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP was estimated at $2.79 billion, and the amount of damage exceeded $11 billion.


The energy and housing sectors were the most affected.
