Torture and murder: bodies of victims of the Russian military were found on the liberated territorie

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation service members claimed the life of a 30-year-old resident of Boromlia village, Okhtyrka district, using means prohibited by international law.

Victim's relatives reported his disappearance on March 12, 2022. The missing person's body with traces of violent death was found near the relay tower, 2 km from Boromlia village after it was liberated from Russian troops on March 28.

Under the procedural leadership of the Okhtyrka district Prosecutor's office, criminal proceedings were initiated for violation of the laws and customs of war.

Victims: 1 died.
